Originally from the Netherlands, I've spent over 30 years working across Europe, China, and now the UAE, long enough to see how very differently things get done from one market to the next. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, where I was involved in setting up an industrial park project. In January I co-founded Al Jusur PM Consultancy with my Chinese business partner. Al Jusur means "Bridges" in Arabic, which is exactly what we do. We work with companies running construction or development projects in the UAE, from factories and warehouses to offices and industrial facilities, whether they're just arriving in the market or already mid-project. Our focus is on giving clients the support that's most helpful at that moment. Sometimes that means helping think through strategy and sequencing before a project starts. Other times it's joining a project already in motion, to resolve a specific issue, strengthen coordination, or add experienced capacity where it's needed.
